The holiday season is often a time when our routines change. Long summer days, travel, beach trips, celebrations and more time outdoors can all mean something different for our skin.
Heat, humidity, UV exposure, salt water, chlorine, air conditioning and disrupted routines can place additional stress on the skin, sometimes showing up as dryness, dehydration, congestion, sensitivity or a loss of balance.
But rather than adding more products to your routine, it can be more useful to take a step back and consider what your skin actually needs.
This is the thinking behind The Holiday Skin Edit.
For this collection, our Education Team at dermaviduals has curated four different skincare edits, each built around a specific skin type, concern or goal. Every product has been selected for a reason, with consideration given to how the individual products and ingredients work together.
The result is four considered prescriptions designed to support different skin needs, whether you’re looking to nourish, reset, renew or restore.

The Nourish Edit
For skin needing nourishment and support
Dry or dehydrated skin can become more noticeable during summer, particularly with increased sun exposure, swimming, air conditioning and changes to your usual routine.
The Nourish Edit, curated by Lisa Paone, Head of Education, focuses on gentle cleansing and supporting the skin’s moisture balance and barrier function.
Includes:
- Cleansing Milk with DMS, 150ml
- DMS Base Cream High Classic, 50ml
- Essential Cleansing Cloth
Each product has a role within the prescription. Cleansing Milk with DMS provides gentle cleansing, while the Essential Cleansing Cloth completes the cleansing step without the need for aggressive exfoliation.
DMS Base Cream High Classic is the hero of this edit. Its blend of skin-identical lipids helps replenish what lipid-dry skin can lack, supporting the skin barrier, hydration and comfort. For skin that feels tight, rough or depleted, it provides rich, considered nourishment without complicating the routine.
Together, the combination provides a simple foundation for skin that needs nourishment, comfort and support.

The Reset & Clear Edit
For oily, congested and breakout-prone skin
Changes in temperature, humidity, sunscreen use and routine can sometimes contribute to congestion and breakouts.
The Reset & Clear Edit, curated by Lisa Paone, Head of Education, has been selected around the needs of skin prone to congestion, with a focus on supporting clarity while maintaining the skin barrier.
Includes:
- Cleansing Gel, 30ml
- Liposome Concentrate Plus, 20ml
- DMS Base Cream Classic, 15ml
Liposome Concentrate Plus is the hero of this edit. Containing encapsulated Azelaic Acid, it provides targeted support for skin prone to congestion, visible redness and uneven tone. Its role is not simply to address breakouts, but to support a clearer, calmer and more balanced-looking complexion while maintaining the skin’s natural barrier.
Cleansing Gel provides a thorough yet skin-conscious cleansing step, while DMS Base Cream Classic helps support the skin barrier and maintain hydration.
The combination demonstrates an important principle of skincare: supporting clearer-looking skin doesn’t have to mean compromising the skin barrier.
The Firm & Renew Edit
For skin seeking renewed support
Healthy ageing is not about trying to stop the natural ageing process. It’s about understanding the changing needs of the skin and choosing products that support its long-term health.
The Firm & Renew Edit, curated by Sandra Trostel, Education Team, brings together products selected to support skin firmness, nourishment and renewal.
Includes:
- Cleansing Milk with DMS, 30ml
- Anti-Wrinkle Serum, 20ml
- DMS Mask with Vitamins, 15ml
Anti-Wrinkle Serum is the hero treatment component of this prescription. With Para Cress Extract and amino acids, it is designed to support smoother, firmer-looking skin and soften the appearance of expression lines as part of a considered age-management routine.
The combination begins with gentle cleansing, followed by targeted care and additional nourishment. DMS Mask with Vitamins provides an intensive care step, bringing together Vitamins A, C, E and B5 to support the skin’s condition, hydration and vitality.
Rather than focusing on one isolated concern, this edit considers the skin as a whole and how different products can work together within a considered routine.

The Balance & Restore Edit
For sensitive and reactive skin
When skin is sensitive or reactive, more skincare isn’t necessarily the answer. Often, the priority is to simplify the routine and support the skin’s natural protective function.
The Balance & Restore Edit, curated by Kai, Educator and Research Lead, has been selected around the needs of sensitive and reactive skin.
Includes:
- Total Cleansing Cream, 30ml
- EGCG Liposomes, 20ml
- DMS Base Cream High Classic, 15ml
EGCG Liposomes are the hero of this edit. EGCG, a potent green tea polyphenol, helps protect, calm and support stressed skin while providing antioxidant support against the visible effects of environmental stress. Its role within the prescription is to help soothe the appearance of redness and support skin that feels reactive or uncomfortable.
Total Cleansing Cream provides a gentle cleansing step, while DMS Base Cream High Classic helps reinforce the skin barrier, supporting comfort, resilience and skin tolerance.
Together, the three products create a considered approach focused on supporting skin that needs calm, comfort and resilience.
The thinking behind the edit
The four Holiday Skin Edits are different because skin is different. There isn’t one routine that works for everyone, and there doesn’t need to be. The starting point should always be the skin itself: what is happening, what it needs and which products can best support it. That is why each edit has been considered as a combination rather than simply a collection of individual products.
