Beauty at the Tannery is a one of a kind spa destination situated within the opulence of The Tannery in Woolston, Christchurch. The Tannery is a boutique shopping emporium on the banks of the Heathcote River in Woolston.

Tara established Beauty at the Tannery in 2013. “I came up with the idea behind the spa after witnessing the devastation of the Christchurch earthquakes. It was important for me to create something unique, a boutique spa which touched on all the senses from the fabrics and colours to scents and sounds. With a team of eight our spa offers an extensive range of treatments, from your everyday beauty essentials through to decadent relaxing spa packages, tailor made group bookings and private parties.”

Christchurch needed a space like this, where people could escape for a while. Creating a beautiful space for our clients to be able to come to be pampered from head to toe and escape, even if it is just for a short time, seeing the difference it makes to their day really is inspiring.”
